“During the isolation of Covid I stopped painting. I realized about a year ago I was missing the healing effects of that creative process and the sense of community it brings with it. Out of that need for healing came the formation of the Independence Gallery and Working Studio.

I have been extremely fortunate in finding the support of many wonderful fine artists including Kathye Mendes, Todd Price, Bepe Boatright Kafka, Richard Weigand, Stephanie Tomey, Ches Helmick and, most recently, Scott Jackson Ricketts.”
